Police academy in San Francisco CA,?

SO I joined the one on 350 amber street the police academy do you need a run cause they aren't as strict do you get paid for joining for the 10weeks ???every tuseday nights from 6pm to 9pm night time

I don't know about there but here in my local department you get paid while your in he academy.
