Police academy polygraph questions?

I am applying to become a police officer and in the guidelines for past criminal activity it says "Must not have used marijuana in the past three years. In addition, must not have used marijuana more than fifteen times during the applicant's lifetime." Would they ask me in my polygraph test if I have smoked in the past three years? And if I have, am I automaticlly disqualified for the position?

Yes, they will verify your drug use during a polygraph exam. The purpose of the polygraph test is to verify information you provided and one of those questions will be something similar to: "are you withholding information about your illegal drug use?"
