  1. You're in trouble now!!!!!

Often times police dispatchers keep logs of telephone calls that are made to the police department.  There is a space for the time of the call, nature of the call and who made it.  The dispatcher was just following the standard procedure, it does not mean that cops will be on the look-out for you.

  2. If you only want professional answers, call the police department and ask the lady who answers the phone.

We all know she asked so she knows who the caller is.  If you expect an answer from her, it is her right to know who you are.  That's basic courtesy and basic business procedure, regardless of who you are calling.

    G

  3. Many Communications Centers keep logs for statistical purposes.  When the screen pops up it automatically time and date stamps the call, in some cases (911) it will ANI/ALI the call (Auto Number Identification/Auto Location Identification) and the call taker will just ask your name so they can jot it on the record and put a brief description of what the call was regarding.  It has nothing to do with you violating curfew and no reason to think they are keeping track of you

  4. I think that they are required to ask for the name of all callers. I don't think it had anything to do with you. I also believe that you have the right to not answer, though.
