Police camera enforcement sign?

i was parked outside a shop in southall (near a bus stop)while my friend went to get somthing..i was there for 10 mins..i then saw there was a camera there..does this mean ill get a fine? if so how much?

  1. Depends on what you was parked on near the bus stop.. Yellow lines (double and single), bus lane etc. Also look and see the parking restrictions signs. Some places allow you to park on single yellow lines at certain times.

Naw, those cameras are there in case someone runs a red light and then the camera goes off and takes a picture of the car's licence plate and sends the person a ticket, with a picture of them going thru the light, if you don;t get a picture of your car sitting outside and a response to pay a fine, I would not worry about it.

  3. If it was a cctv camera then you could recieve a fine through the post, if it was just a traffic/speed camera then you will not recieve anything. I think you should be ok because i havent seen any of them in Southall.

  5. No, you were not parked, you were what is called "standing".  

  6. No - I've known people to have done all kinds of incredible things in front of these cameras, including talking on their mobile whilst driving, and not once have any of them received a letter, fine or points.
