Police confiscating wepons?

If the police and Blackwater and the military and stuff started taking away civilians guns, and forcing them out of there houses...even if they were not in any immediate danger or threat..

than wouldnt the police and military, by sworn oath to the constitution.. have to turn around and say to the people declaring the orders of gun banning and evacuation.. "That is unconstitutional.. you are under arrest..?"

Or, if the citizens shot the people who took their guns, and would not give them receipts.. would it be justified, as the soldiers/law enforcement were acting as thieves..

I am sorry, i am not trying to sound offensive to law enforcement people in this question.. but I am seriously wondering when Law Enforcement and the Military turn around and say "thats unconstitutional" and than arrest the people calling the unconstitutionall (illegal) orders...?

  1. I'm a retired Cop and my son is a Cop.  We have discussed this matter.   We decided to stand with the people and the Constitution.   You'd you surprised to know how many Cops and military would defy the government and stand with the people.   We would be talking Civil War.

  2. If someone came to my door wanting my firearms, they would have to fight me for them.

    Remember new orleans.

You said this was "hypothetical musing", but it is in fact... fact.

Writes Bob Minarik: "Just after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, many property owners who stayed to defend their homes against theft, were disarmed at gun point by the police and left to the mercy of the looters and home invaders. The NRA arrived within a day that the confiscation started and petitioned the federal court for an injunction to stop this gun confiscation. By the next day the injunction had been granted through the federal court, but the guns were never returned and the confiscation did not stop. Here is just a part of the story of these people who personally experienced this blatant act of tyranny."

I personally hope that there are enough good cops and military personnel that would put a stop to this madness.  They didn't during Katrina though.  It's a scary proposition, to say the least.

I guess next time the citizens need to fight back and shoot these people.  Cops, Blackwater, whoever.

I'm afraid this fascist government of ours might one day bring in FOREIGN troops.  Ones that had no allegiance to our country or it's constitution.  Then we'd really be screwed.

  4. I definitely agree with the issues you are trying to prove here but I don't think the police do it to actually "break" the rules... Soe of the weapons they confiscate are illegal

  5. Steal the guns back and use your guns to shoot their guns!

  6. I hear ya, its not the military tho, I'm not just saying that cuz i'm in the military, I'm saying, its the justice system if anything, and don't worry, I'm a proud owner of many weapons, they can not take my 2nd amendment away, your in no harm.

  7. What if waterfalls were made of caramel and tree bark tasted like a ribeye? A whole lot of hypothetical musing going on here.

  8. I remember something about this back in school.
