  1. it depends on the corporation

  2. Yes. In every state and jurisdiction any duly authorized law enforcement officer can make an arrest if they are witness to a crime. Just as any citizen can make a citizen arrest if they are witness to a crime. It is not suggested that citizens do this it is better if they just report it to the nearest PD. If you as a citizen feel that someone is suffering bodily harm or their life appears to be in danger, you can as a citizen involve yourself.

  3. he will hold you until a jurisdiction bounded ofc arrives and gve you a free ride in his cruiser ! Dont drop the soap...

  4. We're not only allowed to, in most felony cases we are REQUIRED to.

  5. yep

    Enjoy prison..........................

  6. This will depend on state law.

Here in NJ we have statewide authority.

In some states, officers have no authority beyond that of a regular citizen when they leave the city or county that they work for.

No officer has any authority outside the state he works in.

  7. NO!  Not without consent and support/cooperation from the local jurisdiction.

  8. Oh, you bet.
