Referring to the college student in Florida that confronted John Kerry and got tazed. Who was not floored by the fact he was tazed for expressing himself in an environment where that is supposed to be encouraged? And in order to avoid prosecution the statements he had to make-did those just not drop your stomach in sickness? If you thought the kid was out of line and deserved it pls say why.

  1. Not a Police state (YET!), But the tazing was good for him, He was very unruly. He would not relinquish the mike when asked. He was not even ranting about the subject at hand.

Even in an open forum discussion there are rules to abide by. He tried to circumvent these rules. Got what he deserved, the putz.

The only reason the cops didn't pound the pi** out of him was the cameras

The liberal Media tried to make it out to be more than it was.

When it was just a rude jerk venting not some martyr for a noble cause.

  2. He was out of line.  He was combative, wouldn't relinquish the mike, was verbally abusive, and struggled with the police.

That resulted in his being tazed.  He's lucky he didn't just get a billy club to the head.  That also would have been acceptable.

  3. Of course he deserved it. He was asked several times to cease his diatribe that had nothing to do with the topic at hand, he would not leave when asked, he resisted arrest. Yep taz him bro.

  4. you can argue forever whether the guy deserved it or not, but that incident alone wouldn't make the US a police state, but just go to youtube and search for "police brutality", then you'll see a better picture of what's happening out there.  and as they say, you have to give up some of your freedom to protect your liberty (how dumb does one have to be to come up with a statement like this?!?!?  LOL) from the axes of evil.  no to mention all your privacy that they are taking away from you.  I'm starting to think that pre-Bush's Iraq invasion, the Iraqis had more freedom than the Americans now. I mean, when they took away habeas corpus, the police now can arrest you, beat you up, and tase you without any warrant.  so go figure.
