  1. Cop shoulda tased your cousin.  Teach him a lesson.

  2. Okay...sorry...took me a while to understand that.  First of all WTF....you weren't there.  Sounds like the officer wanted your cuz to pull over....ie:  flashing (I think that's what you meant) and siren.  Anyone who has a license in CA or any state for that matter....would know that.  As far as the officer taking your cousin's key....he probably doesn't have a valid license...or a license for that matter.  That's were the officer's frustration came from.  Looks like he gave your cousin a break and didn't take him to jail for driving w/o a license.   I have ZERO sympathy.

  3. Your cousin DID something wrong: He tried to evade the police. Cars get pulled over all the time, and when the driver pulls away without the cop's consent, he is trying to evade. It happens all the time. And once you try to evade, you'll be treated like a common criminal.

There are many reasons why a cop wouldn't get out of the squad car immediately after a pull-over. It's not for your cousin to decide or question. He made a mistake; he should learn from it ... not have the cop's motives questioned or your cousin's actions defended.

  4. that is a lie

  5. Sound like the cop have a very bad day from the start.  If you ever get stop by any police, you should always stop the car to a safe position, put car in park and turn off engine.  Keep both hand on the steering wheel, so when the police come up to you, he can see your car is turn off and hands are in clear sigh, it will relax him and knowing you are going to cooperate.  NEVER get out the vehicle unless you were told to.  That is normal, when the police see you get out the car without being told, he will pull back and keep a distance for safety.  If he did not issue your cousin ant ticket but keeping the papers, you should go to the police station with your parents and request them back.  You will need to have the car remove a.s.a.p., unless the car is in a approve parking space.  There is nothing to be afraid if you guy did not do anything wrong.  Good luck...............

  6. if your cousine did'nt have a licence he deserves to have his car towed.

  7. If your cousin tries to sell you a bridge, don't buy it, just like this story...

  8. Sounds like the cousin did the following things "wrong"...drove without a license, commited a traffic infraction, failed to yield/eluded the police officer...plenty of things that were "wrong".

As for what will happen to the car, it will be impounded for 30 days. You cousin or the registered owner of the vehicle will have to pay the impound fees and towing charge at the end of this period. If they don',t title of the vehicle will be transferred, vehicle will be auctioned to pay off the fees.
