Police to question Wahab Riaz, says PCB chairman

Pakistan Test skipper Salman Butt and fast bowlers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir have already provided statements to police, but charges have not at this stage been laid against any of the three players.
Pakistan Cricket Board chairman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ijaz-Butt-c64128 has said police will now question paceman Wahab Riaz on September 14th.
Butt told the media in Lahore that, "Police have also requested that Wahab Riaz be made available for interview on September 14.”
While the PCB chairman confirmed Salman Butt, Asif and Amir have not been charged by police, the trio have been charged by the ICC under its Anti Corruption Code, and have also been provisionally suspended from cricket.
The allegations of spot fixing against the three players first came to light in a News of the World sting operartion, with the paper alleging the existence of a betting scam involving the delivery of no-balls at predetermined points in the Test between England and Pakistan at Lord’s in August.
