Political science/History majors?

Question

I was wondering if there are any schools that offer good programs in both majors at an "average cost", but outside of Florida. I live here, so I know them all. I already graduated from High School, and I was accepted at Florida State and Stony Brook. But I didn't want to take a loan in order to pay for it. I was planning on Attending Florida Atlantic next fall, but when I mentioned it to my father, he didn't like since FAU is a fairly weak school. So let me know your ideas, But no Ivy leagues, I know my grades can't get me there

I'm a Tulane History/Physics double-major so I'm slightly biased to my school lol...any of the big state schools, UF, UT-Austin, etc. have great history and poly sci programs, and if you can get into Notre Dame, you're in one of the top poly sci programs in the nation.
