  1. Yes, and just to add to Melissa's point about N.egro being a censored word on Yahoo! Answers. I had it censored once when I taking a poll on my favorite beers, and I wrote ***** Modelo. Something that has absolutely nothing to do with race yet it has to be censored. I understand that a computer is unable to understand the context in which a word is used, but come on! Have we become that sensitive that a word doesn't automatically have racial connotations be automatically be censored? The word also has legitimate uses and can also be used to describe race without being derogatory, exempli gratia (The *******, the Caucasoid, and the mongoloid) that is an example of it's use to describe race which just specifies a race of people as do the other examples, none of these terms suggest superiority or inferiority they are simply used to classify racial groups, but Yahoo refuses to recognize that and feel that they should intercede. And the rest of our society is just as bad.

Note: See where the asterisks are in place of letters? That is where Yahoo censored me.

  2. Well yes if ANY WHITE would have said the word ****** like Jesse Jackson did they would be fired no matter what job they had! And there life ruined Yet I see Jesse Jackson still holds his job easily without opposition. AND AGAIN IF A WHITE PREACHER OF ANY RELIGION WOULD HAVE SAID WHAT REV WRIGHT SAID THEY WOULD HAVE TO STEP DOWN BECAUSE THE LEFT WOULD BE RADICAL ABOUT IT..Yes N.gro is censored isn't it getting ridiculous when is enough enough America is making people racist!

  3. Politically speaking we do have a double standard for whites and blacks. In this election Obama is actively using his race to further his ability to get elected. I think it's ridiculous how people are allowing this to happen.

Obama supporters are asking questions on Y/A's about why people are or aren't voting for Obama because of him being black. I have seen people respond by telling them they are not voting for him because they don't agree with him on the issues. They refuse to accept this fact.

I believe most people who are not voting for Obama is because of many reasons not because of his race. There are a lot of reasons why I'm not voting for Obama and NOT because he is black. I just don't think Obama has America's best interest in his heart.

  4. Yes----a double standard is being applied right now whe people are saying we do not support Obama because he is black-----how lame.------bring good blacks around to elect and we will give our support-as long as they are qualified and will do the right thing for our nation------we do not want this man Obama----we want him out of the senate even.

  5. Yes.  There will always be a double standard between the two races.  It is okay for blacks to use certain terms without even blinking an eye, but don't let a white person say the same thing, in the same way, egads!  Black people seem to think that white people have it so much better than they do and have things that they don't (privledges), but that's simply not the truth.  I come from a poor, underprivledged, white farming family.  When I graduated from HS I couldn't go to college (lack of money and scholorship qualifications) but almost all of the black people in my class did go due to the ***** College Fund.  How about that?

OMG - N.egro is a censored word ... proof right there!

  6. i agree with man number one
