Please don't take this

the wrong way. I just read an article that President Bush is sending $1 million dollars of relief funds to Georgia. Now I'm not one of those people who's anal about keeping the money in the US to help Americans with American money,so dont get me wrong, to me helping is helping. BUT what about the poor people of Darfur who have been starved, raped, forced into homelessness, and slaughtered for months at a time? Why aren't we helping them? Does the situation seem to hopeless? I think both situations are critical, but why haven't we taken action in Africa? Or are we just going to wait until eventually disease, famine, and their on kind extincts the whole population? Until then they will keep suffering, while we stand by and watch another Rwanda unfold, doing nothing just as we did before.

  1. The American Government makes decisions based not on morality or principal.it makes pragmatic decisions based on

tThe interest of the American Government.

Georgia has tactical and strategic advantage for the US government .  Darfur on the  hand has nothing of any interest to the Government what so ever

You notice I did not say that the Government makes its decisions based on the interest of the American people.
