Aerosmith are way higher than this (even though they betrayed Rock 'N' Roll with that lame moment with Run D.M.C. , they are still a million years away from just good bands like Def Leppard) .

you are evil, this is a very hard question.

Everyone knows that Aerosmith is the classic of classics, but Def Leppard is also one of the best bands ever.  I like all of Aerosmith songs, but i also like Def Leppard's songs too.  But i have to admit that Def Leppard's sound is better from my point of view.  I know that most people like Aerosmith better but i like Def Leppard better.  But Steven Tyler is the best, and he plays the violin.

Both bands sucked in the 80's -

Aerosmith was great in the 70's...up to and including " Rock In A hard Place '' - Their Geffen stuff outright BLOWS !!!!

Def Leppard started rockin'  GREAT in the last 10 years, so they got better as time went on.  The "YEAH" cd kicks ****
