3. go to store and buy xbox live card or get credit card or just use free one month trial

4 go to xbox turn it on with no game inside

5 go to account management

6 from there you should see some sing up for silver or sing up for free trails choose either if silver later it will offer free trail or if you bought a card the will be place to enter a number on the card or place to enter credit card info
