I haven't had s*x yet? I am 14 (well only days from it), I never thought I would ask this question because I have always known not to do it before the age on consent... but know it seems I am having doubts. There seem to be a lot of people who have s*x before 16.... and I am starting to feel like i'm in the minority. I have really never thought about it before because like I said I always knew right from wrong... but it seems thats changing.

Also I have never "made out" with anybody nor have I had a girlfriend.... am I just pathetic?

  2. You are far from a loser! You have the guts and self control that most people lack today and you should hold your head up high! People will always find something to make fun of and its usually what they themselves are jealous of. I cant praise you enough for the very big thing for such a young person.  You keep it up and hold your head high, you have something specail that nobody can take from you and they cant get thiers back!!!

  5. No, your definatly not a loser. Your responsible and smart. 14 is too young to have s*x. Personally, I think 16 is a good age or even older. I am 14 aswell and I wouldn't dream of having s*x yet. Your not pathetic, you just haven't found the right person yet. That time will come. Save your first time for when your ready and you actually want to have it with someone you love. Don't do it now, its not sensible.

Don't let peer pressure or the media brainwash you & change your morals. Society has been known to be quite fickle & quite wrong. There was a time when it was socially acceptable to not only support slavery but to OWN slaves. Child abuse & spousal abuse were also socially acceptable in this country less than 100 years ago. Be true to yourself always. You may have a tough time during your teenage years but you will come out the other side with your sense of self AND self-respect intact. Best of luck!

    s*x is not something that should be rushed into and it is all the "hype" right now with young kids who are so egar to be adults.  Trust me - it is worth the wait.  Just spend your time focusing on being a kid while you can

No you aren't a loser!  And most certainly not in the minority.  While kids are indeed becoming sexually active earlier in life, I'd say you are probably still in the majority.  I'm 22 and I know plenty of men and women my age that are still virgins, and I have respect for them.  Just don't stress too much about it, and don't jump into anything because of peer pressure.  Most of those people that say they have had s*x before they were 16 (boys mostly) are liars.  Do what you feel comfortable doing, and don't let other people dictate your actions.

  16. Not at all. I'm 15 and not having s*x until I'm married. Dont do something just because other people think it's cool. I think it's really lame that people arn't waiting until their in love. at least wait for that.

  18. NO, of course you're NOT a loser. You DON'T HAVE TO have s*x before you're 16. Don't have s*x just because EVERYONE else is. Look at most of the teens on here posting questions about their girlfriend's being pregnant or their selves being pregnant. You don't want to end up like one of those people. You are so young and you have a long life ahead of you. You have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD to have s*x when you are older. Don't rush yourself. Just enjoy your youth and your life now. Having s*x is a big responsibility. & I personally think teens are too young to take on a responsibility like that. s*x is a very special thing. It's a way for two people to express their love for one another or to reproduce. & Just because you didn't make out with anyone or have a girlfriend it doesn't mean you're a loser. It's alright not to have a girlfriend. Your young, I don't see why you need a girlfriend or why you need to have s*x. It might sound crazy but I REALLY think that you should wait until you're married to have s*x. It will be very special. TRUST ME. I lost my virginity at the age of 14 to my boyfriend, I got pregnant, & my boyfriend didn't love me (he was just using me for s*x.) Don't let anyone take advantage of you like that person did to me. After that relationship I went 11 years without having s*x. & Now I am happily married, and the first time I had s*x with my husband was very special =) So I think you should wait. Best of luck to you in whatever you do. But IF you do have s*x then use protection and make sure that your partner doesn't have any diseases.

    about the making out and having a girlfriend.....just give it time, it'll happen sooner or later..it didnt happen to me until i turned 15
