Generally I'd say the men are better looking.  There are only a few women who I would consider pretty if you saw them out on the street, but a lot of the guys are what I consider to be good looking.

mario ancic, bryan bros, safin, nalbandian, nadal, almagro, granollers, rodick, ferrero,.... no federer but, he is just a lucky champion, no good looks, i wish he should hv been in the era of smpras and agassi n i bet he wudnt hv won a single grandslam!

women: maria, ana, daniela, jelena, elena, maria, wozniacki, anna, nicole, safarova, liszicki, harkleroad, vesnina, puchkova, .......

Its even I think.  I like a lot of the women, and personally I love a woman who is in excellent shape. Tight toned bodies, yum!  I think Maria and Jelena have the best bods around and the other girls are pretty, with a few exceptions.  

My sister has a huge poster of Federer, so she thinks he's HOT and my sis is very pretty cheerleader captain, gets tons of guys but if she could have one, it would be Roger. Total obsession.

Seems pretty even to me.

Men.

Look at the top ten, theres Roger who is classicly handsome (seriously, the man could be Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice), Rafa who just d**n s**y, and Novak, whom tons of people find very hot, boyish good looks maybe? Theres a slight slip up at Davydenko, but then despite Ferrer looking like Kermit the frog, theres something appealing about him at number 5. At number 6 a man lots of girls find s**y in an eyes-close-together kind of way (me included), Andy Roddick. At 7 is a major slip up with David Nalbandian (who wears yellow... yellow?!?) And then (to compensate for the unfortunateness of Nalbandos) is the creme de la creme at number eight, James Blake. That man is honestly a dream. The top ten is rounded up by Gasquet and Wawrinka respectivly, and whilst they may not be defined at hot, they arn't bad by any means.

Then theres the women...Ivanovic and Sharapova lead a top ten filled of fuglys... Kuznetosva anyone? Apparently Hantuchovas hot (beyond me) but that makes 3...

More handsome men. Federer is SO hot. Nadal has many hot features.  The rest are pretty good looking.  The girls, well, Maria, Serena, and Chakvedatze (sp?) and a few others.  It seems there are more pretty women players today than there were 10 years ago.

normally, female tennis players do not look good because they look very muscular. they need those muscles to excel in the sport.

we only get 1 or 2 glamor girls per era in tennis history. the pretty ones do not rank well , and are obscure.

so i'd say there are more pretty boys than pretty girls in tennis.
