h**l, YES! People sit there and say America is rotten, but at least we vote for our president, protest when we don't like something, and we don't wake up in the morning to a war in our backyard. People might not like us, but, hey, we're AMERICANS! What can they do about it?

I'm proud to be an American, but man I would be pretty embarassed to travel around the world saying so.  Our image RIGHT NOW is not something to be proud of, and it needs some repair work done on it.

i am proud to be an american. am i proud of the leaders, not recently. Do i think banning our lord is politically correct, no. do i think that letting hundreds of thousands of immigrants live better than half of our own legal citizens is right, no. If it wasnt for america the world would be in such shambles. lets face it we all should be proud, we are in a rough patch now, but we will bounce back. we always do.

not every morning in the past, and never now. What do we have besides a gov't that does whatever the h**l it wants. And doesn't inform us of it? And does nothing but put us so far in debt, that our economy is about to collapse, and the stock market is predicted to crash. I will be proud when we have our rights back and when our opinion will really start to matter.
