    Parents didn't names their sons Milton, which means "Mill town", until the early 19th century, although it was a surname (as in the English poet, John Milton),

    Ronald, which is spelled "Ranald" in Scotland, didn't become a given name outside of Scotland before the 19th century as well.  It comes from the Old Norse and means "ruler's counselor".
