I'm not just going to vote 10 because I live here, so it's got an eight.

The country is free and has water and such and pretty good political parties unlike many countries.  We are free to have any religiona dn free to be bisexual, g*y, or straight without the country arresting or shunning us.  Truly these things are grand...

But also, our economy is horrible and seems to make us feel like there can be no one hundred years more, our entire country is suffering an economic hardship, gas prices are going up, leaving many people without transportation.  The monetary system is one of the very most important things in our country, and it has left many people without homes.

Hard to measure, really

Rating on a scale based on politics, at the moment (until Bush) I would say a 2, maybe less...like a 1.5

Rating on a scale based on opportunity and benefits and such, I would say 9/10. This is truly a spectacular country, as are many many others around the world.

Depends on your native country. It's a nice country, though. I live in Las Vegas. A lot of people are polite, things are fair, and life is steady. (Not with President George Bush, though. I can't wait till Obama becomes president.)

i'd hav to agree w/ u on that one.

it would b a 10 if we had a better economy and educational programs. and it might even b better if pple weren't as mentally ill in the head (example: tht kid who killed dozens of innocent young adults as VT...screwed up pple)
