  1. Yeah I would do anything it took to make my man happy. I would put the world in his pocket If thats what he wanted.

  2. yes I would. I've watched my dad's best friend do more for his spouse than I have ever seen anyone do though. You say you would do anything, but this really makes you think. He met his wife about 10 years ago. She moved from NYC to Illinois to be with him. She was fun, refined, lively and entertaining. She was great for him and truly enriched his life. About 5 years ago though she started forgetting things. At first it was mild, but it soon became obvious that something was wrong. She went to all kinds of doctors and eventually they diagnosed her with early onset Alzheimers. She was only 50 years old. He devoted his life to caring for her. He has exhausted all of his savings and retirement money on her care (keep in mind this is a man who is very close to retirement age). When home care would no longer suffice he moved her to a special Alzheimers care unit 40 minutes from his house. He would go to work during the day and then straight to her in the evening. He spent every free moment with her. By this point she was violent toward him. Eventually that place wouldn't keep her any more, so he had to move her to another nursing home. Now he still spends every moment of his free time with her even though she is unable to talk, walk, or do even the basic things for herself. There is no end in sight, and she is still very young. She may live for years and years like this. He is her husband though and has now given up every chance he has for an enjoyable or secure life to care for her. Although very sad, that is true devotion.

  3. Above my devotion to my wife is my faith and love of Jesus... I would do anything for my wife that did not contradict those morals.

  4. for my wife , yes I would,

  5. Ask me when I find someone I feel a connection with. I'm almost three years post-divorce after 20 years of marriage, and that experience has really twisted my sense of what I would do for anyone.

Plus, there was almost three years between our separation and finally getting the papers signed. I didn't know we could be that bitter towards each other. I had truly hoped my ex and I could (at a minimum) become civil to each other. Instead, he talks to me as if I am subhuman.

  6. same here.  I love my spouse more than anything and would do anything.

  7. yes, i would because I have the best hubby in the world and he deserves all the happiness his heart desires...

  8. Of course I would do anything to make my husband happy and care for him and I know that he will do anything to make me happy and care for me. I know this because it's what he's done ever since I've met him.
