I'm thinking either assless chaps or a hookah?

They are both great gifts but I can only afford to buy one.

Definietly not the hookah. You know how he is. He'll end up stealing and smoking all your sausages. Then he'll go for your donuts cuz he's got the munchies.

I'd go with the hookah.  He might invite you and a date to his house for a hookah party.  You get the chaps and the joke might be on you.  He might wear them to work and he might have a hairy asss and then you'll have regrets.
