Poll: Mac or PC? ?

Question

I see all of these commercials about how terrible Vista is, and the Mac is wonderful. I have been running Vista since May, and I absolutely enjoy using it. I have never had a crash, and everything works nicely on it. I would like to know more about the Mac. But in your opinion, Mac or PC and the reason why please.

Mac.

It is intuitive and very easy to operate.

If you want to accomplish something on a Mac just use common sense and you will figure it out (not true with PCs).

I have an iMac and it is great for Movie making and managing photos, but the Microsoft office doesn't work very well. It is very user friendly and fun to use. It also has a built in webcam.

I also have a PC, and that is great for work and computer games.

i've used pc's since mac os 9 (i was a mac fan up until i couldn't upgrade my mac any more)

the reason you see commercials that are anti vista is because they're mac commercials. and mac fanatics are more vocal than pc lovers it's been that way for many years. when i was a mac fan i read all the anti pc propaganda and believed it until i actually used a pc. and wondered where did the mac users come up with all the bs? my win98 never crashed, it was multithreaded, i could upgrade with cheaper parts...

of coure mac os x has come a long way now. but i still perfer windows because of the software selection. i can find free or cheap software for nearly anything i want to do. i once needed an on screen keyboard for my mac and could only find a single $30 shareware!

if you're happy with your os choice then stick with it.

PC since I grew up around them, I can write programs for them, and all (most) of my favorite apps are only for Windows.

Mainly I stick with PC because I am familiar with it.  I am the local computer geek, when anyone I know needs to know how to do something on a computer they call me.  They all use PCs.  I know quite a bit about hacking Windows to make it function and look exactly the way I want it to, and Windows is very stable for me.  Yes I had problems with 98 but since Windows 2000 my computers have been rock solid.  I can do anything I need to do on a PC in a matter of seconds, it's not confusing to me.  Macs have no pros that make it worth it for me to spend the extra money on them, although that might not be true for others.

PC is definitely more compatible to almost all applications and hardware... I would like a mac just to change and see wazzup but... PC is fine

You sound like you are being paid by the Windows marketing department. Considering that Microsoft is spending $300 million on a pro Vista marketing campaign to "convince" PC users that Vista IS actaully great and that companies like Intel can't see the value in "upgrading" to Vista, I find it rather strange that you find Vista so great.
