What's Qantas like to fly (long-haul, i.e. SFO-SYD)? Are they good or what?What do you think overall?

Qantas is a very good airline to fly with and is the flag aniline of Australia just like British airways in the UK aer lingus in Ireland American airlines and delta airlines in the USA and Canada air in CANADA over all i do think there a great airline to fly with a anyone i know of off that has been on one of there flights have no trouble flying with them again or singing there praise

I've never flown on Quantas but I've heard good things, and for that route they're the obvious choice.

And for the other poster, Delta is NOT "the flag carrier" of the U.S.

Overall I think Air New Zealand is better. You'd have to go SFO-Auckland-SYD. They have much better in-flight entertainment and new planes... Qantas often code-shares with United on that route and they have crappy planes and useless in-flight entertainment long-haul.
