South Goa in India....beautiful half empty beaches, warm sea. sunshine...friendly people & excellent seafood...my perfect holiday destination.

downside...long flight from UK, vaccinations & malaria pills...but worth it all the same!

In Boracay island, perfect white sand beach, beautiful people, exotic and yummy foods, best hotels and spas, and diverse marine life, and a lot of water sports and also golfing.

its a coin toss between salthill in galway or amsterdam holland i like both places but my dream holiday was in cork a few years back while i was visiting family down there

At the Labadi Beach hotel in Ghana West Africa.

You would have to go there to understand how beautiful and relaxing it is there.

It lies in the middle of tropical gardens, overlooking the sea. Just picture it...Tables and chairs under huge straw umbrellas dotted about...

The sometimes rough sea lashing over the huge stepping stones and disappearing into the pebbles on the beach....Waiters walking about to take any orders wherever you are in the grounds.

A huge patio area where one can dance to bands playing cultural and Western music...

A swimming pool secluded in amongst the coconut trees...

You get my drift?.... And that's only the outside...

Mine would be on a small patch of land in the mountainous part of Costa Rica, i would love it there as i like solitude and hiking, and i also like rock climbing, although i am gettin on in years , but I believe in staying active  and healthy, that is why i would like the solitude to meditate ,a d balance my inner seldf , for when i come back home.

I have had  my perfect vacation many times.

It is at a place called 1770, in Queensland, Australia.

We often go there.  We camp in our tent, cook over an openfire and sit on the beach with a couple of drinks, while we watch the sun set with other campers.  We have met a lot of wonderful people from all over the world and Australians travelling around the country.

If you come to Australia, 1770 is a must.
