This one is down to opnion but I think Metal Gear Solid 4:Guns of the Patriots. I suppose a lot of people would say Resistance:Fall of Man but I didn't have a PS3 when that first came out so I missed playing it.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, it wipes the floor with other games. It's a beautiful and addictingly ( not a word) fun game, with some of the best cutscenes of any game IMO, story, graphics, voice-acting, and gameplay.

However, some honorable mentions are:

Well, I have CoD 4 and I've played GTA 4 on the Xbox 360, but since it's the same on both consoles, obviously, I'd say those are the best.

my God! i hate it when you ask a question and then people say something totally disregarding the question at all. whoever says ps3 sucks, f+ck them. they obviously have never played a ps3 or have never played MGS 4.

whcih brings me to your question. Yes mgs 4 is the best game on the ps3. even though this question is opinion based this game redifines what war games are all about. right from the opening cinamatics, you know this game is going to change the way you look at video games for the rest of your life.

p.s. how can somebody say ps3 sucks, but say xbox 360 rules when most of the best games on the 360 are also on the ps3?
