You gotta have a little of both.  Especially if you are with the same person for a long time.  Getting drunk you will do things that you normally wouldn't, so the ice will get broke.  And then sober s*x is more interesting.  Either that, or you'll want to get drunk more just to have crazy s*x.....which is fine to.
