  1. I prefer someone else because iI am not too mechanically inclined.

  2. depends on the work, if I'm getting paid, etc...generally my work rate is better than people i have worked w/ and we get paid same amount so i feel cheated....so i like to work alone so boss knows exactly work i did. if im not getting paid having people is always fun :D

  3. If I have the money, someone else, preferably not my husband who usually starts our projects and leaves them half done... then I finish them.  I hate being broke!

  4. It depends on the work, but I mostly do it myself unless I don't know what I'm doing.

  5. have someone else do it but usually if u want it done right away i have to do it

  6. whoa....i hadn't seen this ? of yours! manually, i prefer to do it myself, as i know the way home if you know what i mean. orally now, that's something totally different....lmao....;-)

  7. I always do it - it has to be pretty extreme and use some special skill or tools that I can't acquire or learn to get me to hand it over to someone. Labor costs a fortune - why waste your money on that when you can do it yourself. And it feels so good when you're done...assuming you didn't mess it up.

  8. It depends on what the manual work is.  In general, I'd really really really prefer to have magical powers (like Mrs. Weasley or Mary Poppins) and just flare my wand around to get things done practically immediately.  However, I don't seem to know the correct spells.

  9. It depends on whether I can do it. I'm disabled, so I do what I'm physically able to do and hire someone when the job is too much for me.

Knowing your limitations is a facet of maturity.

  10. I'd prefer someone else to do it for me :)

  11. I can't afford to hire someone to do all the things I need done. So, I try to learn the how to's and tackle the job myself first. If I can't do it, then I call some one in who can.  I do all the menial chores though. Like, mowing, painting, carpet cleaning etc. Sometimes I actually get a "high" from my accomplishments.

  12. If it is building a deck, plumbing, or electrical wiring - someone else.

Most other things I enjoy doing on my own.

  13. the satisfaction of looking at the finished product and knowing you did that yourself is far better than knowing you wrote the check.

  14. I prefer to have someone else do it. When I was poor, I did my own auto work. I replaced master cylinders, water pump, ball joints, etc. Since I did electrical work/construction until I was 25, I do most of the work around the house because I can't afford to have someone else do it. I can't wait for my wife to graduate from nursing school so we can just pay someone to do the work for us.

  15. For me, it depends on the job involved.  If I am able to do it, then I'd prefer to do so.  If I don't have the knowledge/skill/experience then I look to others for help.

  16. i do most of the work myself with the right tools i can master anything, something are just too big, or need to done quick, then i'll call for help, i enjoy using my hands!!♥

  17. I would prefer someone else do it for me

  18. Lol! It's always better to have someone do it for me, but I'll still do a good job myself.

  19. If I didn't do it, it wouldn't get done :)

  20. I prefer to do regular household work myself. I am the type of person that thinks it is not clean unless I cleaned it. Repairs, renovations and major jobs are done by my husband and he prefers to them himself.

  21. I'd prefer "him" to do it for me, but right now, all I got is myself =(... (he knows who "he" is)

    Cheers =)

  22. I have always looked at any job with the attitude of "If someone else can do it, so can I" If it is something I have never done I research the project and do it myself. I have yet to have to hire someone to fix something I have done. So I would rather do the job myself. Have saved thousands of $$$ that way.
