  1. White. Nope not pickier just a simple wedding dress.  Relationship counts.

  2. Mine was white....and the design is by far more important than the color...you want to wear a style that looks good on you and you feel good in!  It could be an uncomfortable white gown or a fushia one that fits like a glove...color isn't that important!

  3. My dress is ivory.  I chose it based on the design and the fact that looked good on me.  I didn't notice until later that it was actually ivory and not white.

  4. White.

I was pickier about the design though - I didn't really think that 'colour' was an option - it was either white or white as far as I was concerned!!!  I would have been disapointed if it was ivory instead of white... however I do suit ivory better (and my Mum thought I should have bought the ivory version of my dress!)... I just always had the idea that a wedding dress is white - so there was no question as to what I would wear (and I still look ok in white!)

  5. Ivory.  I was pickier about design.  I assumed I was getting white, but just thought my dress looked better in ivory.  I was going for an unconventional wedding (in a restaurant on Halloween), and my dress was in the "informal" section.  It was a lovely simple dress with renaissance sleeves.

I almost got a simple winter white velvet dress with a mesh jacket, but the first dress fit a Halloween wedding better.

  6. As a catholic i am supposed to wear white and be a virgin walking down the isle...well i was married last year and i'm not a virgin but i wanted white and if your not a virgin you cant wear white so i wore Diamond White it's not pure white but it looked just as good :)

  7. Mine is a dark ivory with a light pink sash around the waist. My aunt made it and I love it. She replicated a little black dress I got from Express about 10 yrs ago.

  8. My dress will be red

  9. Mine is orange that fades to a dark red.  It's supposed to be fall-ish feeling.

  10. mine is off white with a little red in it with sequines on it had it made to what i wanted

  11. 1st time: White

    2nd (& last): Royal Blue

  12. Mine was a light purple (almost a lilac color) knee length dress. It was halter top style.

  13. Mine was Ivory. I was more particular about the design since my skin color would suit either white, ivory or champagne/gold color.

  14. Mine is White with a Pool blue sash.....I can't wait to wear it!

  15. It will be either white or ivory with gold on it

  16. I have not gotten married yet, but when I do I know I will want a white dress, perhaps with a colored sash or ribbon or something to match my bridesmaids as an accent.  Ultimately, you should go with whatever makes you happy, you can always match bridesmaids and wedding colors accordingly.

  17. mine is going to be white, and yes I knew exactally what I wanted an dit took me for ever to find the one that was just right for me

  18. White.  I wanted white from the start and I didn't know about style till i got the dress on.

  19. Mine was white.  I was equally concerned with color and style because ivory doesn't look good on me, but I didn't get the dress of my dreams because five months before the wedding I learned I was pregnant, and had to go with an empire waist, instead of the strapless ball gown I always wanted.

  20. Ivory with a champagne tulle overlay and gold embroidery;

I was much more particular about the design, but ivory was my first choice in colour...

  21. ivory and red.  i was pickier about the detail really it needed to have  A LOT!!!

  22. White.  I don't think I even thought about another color or even tried on any thing other than white.  Although if I was buying a dress now I'd do white with trim or a sash in dark purple (my favorite color).

  23. My dress is Diamond White

  24. My dress was ivory; I was very picky about the design & style of the dress. I had a destination wedding so it was all about the design; w/out me getting so hot...

  25. Ivory. I picked it because I think it looks better with my skin tone...

  26. Im not married. LOL

  27. Mine will be gold and burgundy.  Definitely the design.  I wanted psuedo tudor right from the getgo.

I would have liked a white dress, but I went with my relative to pick out dresses when she was getting married. She wears a DD cup while I wear a G.  It was really hard to find a dress that worked with her large bust size, so I knew there would be nothing for me.  Happily, medieval styled gowns work very well to make you look less Dolly Partonish. She has the chutzpah to pull off those tight dresses. I don't. In any case, I decided to match my gown with the Yule/Christmas decor since I'm getting married just after Christmas. I've also always wanted an excuse to get gold shoes.

  28. Very traditional white. I only looked at white gowns, but of course needed a style to suit me, as I'm zaftig.

  29. mine was neon green with orange polka dots =D

    <3 hope I helped!

    P.S. really, it was

  30. Mine will be a light ivory.

  31. white  with some beaded accents ... i bought it used for 200$ with some accessories so for the price i'm quite happy... but in fantasy land if i wanted to spend more on a custom dress I'd have gone for ivory or even beige or gold with a decorative sach or something, (brown is my favourite color so it would have made an appearance in there somewhere)... but when looking in the used market i just took the first dress that suited me decently at a decent price lol ... to make up for it i'll probably throw some brown somewhere in my bouquet (it's a winter wedding so it'll work fine in my opinion... well at any time of year i think people should just use what they like anyway)...

... even though my dress is used  i was still giddy after buying it (just the other day!)... the girl i bought it from was almost in tears (in a good way) when she saw it on me as i tried it on at her house, ... And ironically when i got in my car the old 80's-90's song "finally it happened to me" was playing on the radio.. that's exactly how i felt lol
