  1. i reakon smoking sould be banned!! Because Smokin Kills Lives!! Andd but its kinda hard to quit!! Soo i dont wanna kill myself thats why I dont smoke!!

    lol

  2. if you think about it so many people are addicted to smoking and if it was to be banned there would be just another big black market dealing. so its ether the government keeps it legal and receives the money to help the economy or drug dealer get the money to make yet again more (maby even worse) drugs.

  3. NOT ME! Think about the good smoking does. Your saying good? Yes there are no good health affects this is true but the tax from them funds schools and other community projects in some if not most states. So say what you will about smokers but in some states smokers are providing the money for your kids to go to school. Let me guess you don't have kids and you don't care about community projects well there is another plus to be found within the negative smoking kills. If not buy the great lung cancer than by complications with other medical problems. How is that good well all you bandwagon no smoking  people will out live us so sometimes smoking isn't the problem its the solution. The # of smokers is going down almost sadly People that belive anything off tv, newspapers, or the internet whole heartedly are people we as a world would be much better with out. Day one lesson take any information with a grain of salt and leave opinoins what they are opinions. In a sick way hope that it does happen a complete ban on smoking cause I want to see the shooting sprees that follow anyone remember probition? That worked out great lets do it again this time lets do alcohol and smoking thats why it didn't work last time. The ATF is bored anyways. Think or know I am wrong "Go ahead punk make my day"

  4. yeah

  5. In the state of Washington smoking is banned in all stores. There is also a 25 foot buffer zone within doorways that people are not allowed to smoke. As far as overall smoking is concerned, it must be banned all over the world.

  6. I do ! I can't stand it.

  7. I'm one. One reason is because it doesn't give us any good benifit but disaster....

  8. Why would I want the government to take another one of our freedoms away, whether I exercise that freedom or not?

    Indoor smoking in public however should be banned.

  9. No. It is bad for businesses, like bars. Just another excuse for people to go out and not spend money.

  10. Smoking should not be banned.  It takes away from peoples rights.  My work just banned smoking and it drives me crazy having to go all day without a smoke.  The owners of the Restauraunts and bars should make the desicion is they want it banned or not.  The place of business is as the owners choose and the public has the right to choose whether they want to go to a place that allows smoking or not.

  11. yes thers no reason it shouldent be

  12. i'd like it to be banned. i see so many struggling over quitting. and its not good for you so why do it? its quiet bothersome so yes to the banning

  13. not i!

    and banned from where?

    its already not allowed indoors except for in a casino....what more do you want?

    sheesh!

    have a good one!

  14. Complete banning smoking is compltely ignorant of ye all... its like making a "crying baby free" environment its just not effical... if people wnt to s***w themselves up by smoking so let them... yes 2nd hand smoke damages us but its what you get for being around smokers, your taking the risk so its your fault.

    Plus if smoking was completely banned that'll lead to an increase of criminal activity as addidcts will go underground and Cigarretes will be like other illeagl substances so in fairness before you think about banning smoking think about the long term affects on society before you try to be all goody two shoes and jump on the anti smoking band wagon

  15. The government could ban cigarettes, but will it stop there? I don't think so, all our freedom is slowly being taken away from us

  16. Sure, since i guess people are not allowed to choose for themselves anymore. But i say if your gonna ban Cigs, you may as well ban alcohol also, and fast food, and anything else that is bad for you.  So my vote is for no on just cigs, but if they want to ban everything that is "bad" for you, then i say go ahead.

  17. I've never smoked but there's something alarming in the way smokers are being treated. The Truth commercials are laughable but treating a group of citizens like outcasts is wrong. And the whole second-hand smoke thing is absurd, show me a study that proves it has killed anyone. Right now it's smokers, already they're talking about taxes for obesity, criminalizing the sale or consumption of trans-fats.

    It reminds me of something I heard as a kid about the rise of the n**i party.

    "In Germany, they came first for the Communists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Communist;

    And then they came for the trade unionists, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a trade unionist;

    And then they came for the Jews, And I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a Jew;

    And then . . . they came for me . . . And by that time there was no one left to speak up."

    Think about that before you advocate taking away someone's constitutional rights for something the majority disapproves of, since you might find them disapproving of something in your life next.

  18. Well unfortunately smoking will never be totally banned in America.  Two things.  If people wanna smoke they can.  There are many taxes associated with tobacco products.  The government would never want to end a source of revenue, even at the expense of peoples health.

    Many states are justly banning smoking in public places.  These laws are for the protection on non smokers and not a violation of smokers rights.  It seems to me we are headed for another Supreme Court show down involving the "right" to smoke.  I am sure the Constitution of the USA says nothing about you having the right to smoke.

  19. when you say banned do you mean everywhere,or just in specific places?  as a smoker i am against an overall ban.

  20. I dont want smoking to be banned cause its a bad idea cause if smoking does get banned than the government will be looking for something else to make them as much money as the cigarettes did than they might be looking at coffee, pop, food or videogames or tea or etc and dont think they wouldnt do it cause they would I think the non smokers should be thanking the smokers cause the big taxes are focused on cigarettes and when that best money making for the government goes they will be looking for a substitute something to make them back more money for the loss on cigarettes

  21. yes, banned altogether and I smoke lol, only occasionally though.  I want it to be banned and then my mum, among others, will have to give up.  She has emphysema and still smokes and a ban would save her life, or at least lengthen it.

  22. No, there are few places where people may smoke now.  I am a non smoker, and have only just started using pubs again as the smell makes me sick, but unless tobacco is made ILLEGAL - a wholly different issue - leave things alone.

  23. I REALLY WANT SMOKING TO BE BANNED AND IF I COULD DO ANYTHING TO STOP IT, I WOULD READILY DO IT.

  24. No. What would next. We have the freedom of choice in this country. I don't smoke, but I believe that when we start banning things that we don't like or agree with, we are slowly losing our freedoms. I have heard the arguments but there are people who want to ban fast food, alcohol.etc. We have the freedom of choice, which our country was founded on.

  25. I don't smoke, but no one has the right to ban smoking unless we go farther. We should ban food that is bad for you. Like Micky Dees and all other fast food restaurants, soda, candy, and all other unhealthy snacks. We also could fine people that are over weight. This way they won't have the money to buy food and over eat.We also should ban alcoholic beverages. While we are at it we should ban oil, coal, cars, and everything else bad for the environment. lets take a pole on this.

  26. No.. ban the chemicals and toxins that are put into cigarettes.  Would we willingly agree to toxins that have been proven to kill us in our food or drinks?  Im am an ex-smoker, and wish I had never started.  But it should be everyone's freedom to do what they wish to their own body as long as it does not harm anyone else.  No smoking inside public establishments or nature areas..   There have been some areas in California that are attempting to have designated smoking areas OUTSIDE.  That is pushing it a little too far, though.

  27. i don't like taking anyone's rights away, so i disagree with banning smoking. but i do think it is unfair to non smokers that when they go in bars or restaurants or stand at a bus stop they have to be smoked on. i personally hate the way i smell when i get home from a bar. it also makes me allergic and hurts my eyes when i am around cigarette smoke. there should be sections in bars, or there should be seperate bars designated for smoking.

  28. No, i dont smoke but sometimes i want to light up a cig and blow the smoke in all these up-tight jerk's  faces that want to ban things they dont like, this isn't n**i germany.

  29. its not that i dont wanna, but like, if we were to, it would scar the economy, cuz like these products give the government a whole load of money. so

    NOOOOOOOOOOOoo

  30. Not gonna happen for SO many reasons.

  31. i do ... than i'd have to quit
