  1. nope. Joh 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Joh 14:27  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

  2. I do agree with you.  I don't think this means that everybody has to be Buddhist or anything.  I don't believe that at all, actually.  It just seems that if everybody were to accept people no matter how different they were, and if they could just be kind to people in general, there would be so few problems with the world.

  3. All of the Dalai Lama attributes are creations of God.

Read 1 Corinthians love is the creation of the God of Abraham and is how we are supposed to live.

  4. no

The peace of the world should not hinge on a person.

The whole World should destroy all weapons and over look differences.

  5. Since you asked so nicely, the simple answer is YES.

You could have asked "if we live with peace and compassion, wouldn't the world be better."  Anyone who espouses those two virtues cannot be all bad.

  6. yes I think it would be a better place...I would like to meet him.

  7. Never mind the Dalai Lama, if we all just lived according to the commandment to "love your neighbor as yourself", imagine how wonderful the world would be.

We would never do anything to our "neighbors", either those across the street or around the world, that we wouldn't do to ourselves.

  8. I only have an open mind is as much as I am presented with NEW ideas.. The tired axioms  the religious use here are too lame to consider, for them my mind is closed....

For this question, I suppose I have an open mind ... I will consider it

  9. my mind is open..no, because not everyone believes in the teachings of the dalai lama.

  10. Everything would be better if all lived according to the one rule that almost all religions and even atheistic philosophies have in common.  That which is hateful to yourself, do not do to other people.

  11. Who are you addressing with the question?

The Lama is living in exile unable to go to his own country, he is very nice and interesting to listen to, but a question like If we all...?) does not address the governments of certain asian countries that are offering a 5 million dollar reward for the capture of the Dalia Lama dead or alive, Money and corporate powers run this world, not nice reincarnated Tibeten god kings.

Sorry, but we all can't live according peace and compassion, there is a lot of talk about it though!

  12. OMG!  Once one has witnessed  the TRUTH, everything else is just a lie.  The Dalai Lama is a lie.

  13. No, sorry.

  14. As long as I don't have to dress like him, and can still have access to all my technology.

  15. Yes, if everybody did that, the world would be a much better place.

    Nothing complicated about it.

  16. The teachings of the Dalai Lama are very rational and clear. I don't see why anyone wouldn't agree with them even if you are a Theist. As far as they go, the teachings make a great deal of sense. I feel certain Jesus was aware of Buddha's teachings on some level.

  17. Nope.

The Dalai Lama is a sinner just like the rest of us. He needs a Savior just like the rest of us.

The PEACE of God is found in trusting Christs finished work on the Cross for the sins of the world. That is Gods ONLY provision for PEACE WITH HIMSELF.

Dalai Lama never died for anyones sins, nor is he God.

  18. I will agree with your statement. I will not agree that it could ever be a reality unless human nature were to undergo a massive revolution.

  19. Not only do we have war with each other but war within ourselves. So if a person can be at peace within themselves then maybe there is a chance for peace with others.

  20. If everyone went along with any one thing the world would probably be better.  But it would be best if the one thing that everyone agreed on was how wonderful the invisible pink unicorn is.  She is sooooo awesome!  I hope you are open to being blessed by her holy hooves.

  21. I don't know what all that means.

  22. Agree 100 percent.

But a 0.001 percent chance of that actually happening.

  23. I think if we all lived according to the peace and compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ the world would be better.

  24. Absolutely.  Read Ethics for a New Millineum.  Its wonderful.

Even the Dalai Lama agrees that every person should practice his or her own prefered religion.  He never has said everyone has to be Buddhist. Most religions do adhere to ethical principal. If everyone heeded those there would be no problems.

  25. If we could all live in peace it would be a better place. No matter what your beliefs are. If only we could live and let live.

  26. I don't know so much about the Dalai Lama, but I agree with a more peaceful world.

  27. It certainly would.  However, it will never happen.  The reason people like the Dalai Lama are here is to be lights in our darkness and guides of our ways.  It will take centuries if not thousands of years before all of humankind can live as he does.

  28. Yes I agree with you but as long as people put values of unprovable ideas, invisible sky daddies, and subjective opinions over the value of human life then there will never be chance of that happening.
