  1. The United States still is the top world economy. 12 trillion GDP, with Japan in second at 4 trillion.

  2. I would like to suggest you read a book called "Jennifer Government." It's almost in the same vein as Orwell's 1984, only on the other extreme end of the political scale. Rather than radical authoritarianism, it's radical capitalism.

  3. The US is still a world leader, but it seems to be a declining power. If you guys can fix your outsourced economy and become self-sufficient, and focus on your own economy rather than controlling other countries, you can become stronger, but not in this neoimperial sense that you are. All such countries that attempt to take over the world (which the US has done economically, for the most part), eventually overextend themselves and fall. What has happened in the US is that all this power is focussed to corporations that the actual country the USA is faltering. That's what makes the US different from Britain was 100s of years ago. The wealth used to go to the government, now it goes to private companies.

    How effed up is that?

  4. US currently is.

  5. No!!! Due to the wars America has gotten itself into, they will continue to waste billions instead of re-routing that money towards the economy. In comparison, countries like China have one priority "Become a world leader". So I think China is the economy of the future. I hard for me to remember the last time I wore a shirt made in the US, it's all made in China. See my point ??? :):):) chaooo

  6. maybe C.

however, they are still on top, but not that apparent.
