Most definitely a hobby.  It's become a passion.

I started out with my first tomato plants four years ago with no support from my husband.

Now I have him digging in the dirt with me, excited about any new vegetable coming up.  It's gotten us closer together.

And my corn is sweeter than your corn!

Yes and no. I really love doing it when I have the time, but my husband takes care of the garden most of the time because I travel a lot for work.

No, its not really a hobby as much as it is a lifestyle. The fruits and vegies taste so much better than store bought and you don't know the pesticides/poisons they use.
