My pediatrician and physician have always recommended just one juice to drink and that is Orange juice.  The only other drink he highly recommends for all is water.  It is because the other juices contain too much natural sugar.

I make my own "isotonic" drink from 50% orange juice, 50% water and a pinch of salt. I was given this tip years ago by a lady I used to work with, who fenced at national level and was a coach to the UK team at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur.

I hate apple juice, it reminds me too much of manky cider. I like the taste of orange juice but it gives me dreadful heartburn!!!
