  1. I am not. But I do find some of the questions interesting. Others are very sexist. Peoples ignorance never fails to amaze me.

  2. i'm a female in a sea-going military service. i feel that's about as close to "studying gender" as i will ever need to get. it's a jungle out here!

  3. If the club counts then yes.

  4. Not exactly but I do study feminism as part of my sociology course :-)

  5. Yes. As a lawyer, one will come across many cases in which men and women attempt to use gender discrimination etc. to their advantage. Therefore, lawyers in the field of law I am involved with, are encouraged to study sociological gender studies.

  6. Not officially.

  7. Does that matter? I'm not involved in actively studying poetry, but I can tell you a lot about it.

I can read books too and draw conclusions.

  8. I'm not. I just enjoy poisoning people's minds and taking the soft femmies for a ride LOL.

  9. I am not actually involved in a formal academic course on gender studies.  I am married and I have a son.  My wife and my mother live with me.  I am interested in gender studies and I am also interested in learning gender differences, issues and solutions.

  10. Previously, not currently except if real life situations count.

  11. No I'm just a zoologist, and I'm the front man of punk rock band/hip-hop group, so social matters do concern me, and the more I know and contribute the more valid and strong my ideas about the world become.

Gender studies do interest me, but I'm talking about the biological gender studies not the phony qualitative social science gender studies.

  12. took a few classes...does that count?

  13. No. but gender is part of everyday life. i dont just live with a bunch of bears. i live in a society of gender struggles.

  14. Not I....it's just a whole lot more interesting over here than in the Weddings section (my other favorite hangout).

  15. nope... just a hobby :)

  16. I am working in a field where the inequality between men and women is very apparent, and gender issues are a huge part of our practice, so in that sense yes.

  17. I developed an interest in gender issues whilst studying feminist literature, but it's just a hobby now. :)

  18. Not officially. I study communications and I hope to become a radio producer. But I do read a lot of gender-studies books in my spare time.

  19. Not me. Not even close.
