  1. You mean V.P. and no she isn't ready to help run this country. She isn't even experienced.

  2. That is great! If she was never in washington she cant be what the Dem's call a "washington insider" her kid is in the military so there is your experience and didn't the obama camp say she has no foreign policy experience but you just said she is foreign. But for real foreign policy experience, she is a hair away from asia!

  3. No. I dont feel she is ready for anything like that, mayor is one thing but president... are you crazy?

  4. How old is Obama?  Has he ever "run" a government like she has?  Now, after answering those two questions, who do you think is more capable?  Without a doubt she is.

  5. She is not ready to president of the US. She doesn't have enough political experience, nor does she have any experience that could substitute for that. Also, aside from a great  job as ethics investigator, what else has she done or is even interested in? What judgments has she shown to have had? By the way, cut the the sexist kid c**p, ok, it is the 21st century.

  6. It will never happen; NO WAY, NO HOW AND NO MCCAIN. Thus NO Palan, its back to hunting moose for her.

  7. I was wondering the same thing.  She is only a heartbeat away from being the Pres. pretty scary if you ask me, especially given McCains age.

  8. Definitely not. I agree with you. I have one child and work and this is hard enough, she has 5x that. They are still in school and younger. i don't see how she can be a mother of 5 and a wife and also be an effective Vice President. We need a team that is going to take on the issues in America FULL-TIME, not part time.

  9. no because one, shes young, shes 44. with 5 kids

Obama is the same (except 3 kids) so I agree HE should drop out

  10.   That,s  what  they  asked  when Ronald  Reagan  was elected

President,,,why  he just  a  movie  star,,what  does he  know?

Reagan  was  one  our best  President,s

  11. Ok, for one....she's running for VICE President. And for two, she actually has experience in running a government. She was a mayor and a governor. And the kids thing? I know you must not have children, because if you can handle a career AND 5 kids, you definitely can deal with stress. I have 3 boys, and it's like a battleground. I can't imagine five. Military experience is nice, but the only Candidate out of the 4 for Pres/VP is McCain....her runningmate. And not working in Washington is a GOOD thing. She is someone who hasn't been courted by special interest groups.

  12. Palin corrupt as Bush and McSame

  13. well i guess its a good thing she isnt running for the presidency, furthermore id rather have a normal person than a career politician in office at least she understands the common folk

  14. running a state is different. running for president  is more in dept.anybody almost  can run a state

  15. Well besides Obama being in Washington for about two weeks (He's been campaigning for almost 2 years) you have given the same reason not to vote for Barack.

  16. Well..she's not going to be President so there's nothing to worry about. Did you mean vice president?

  17. No, she is not ready to be president of the United States.

  18. Of the four people on the mainstream parties two tickets she is the only one in my opinion who is ready to be the President of the USA. as for working in Washington that is a major drawback for me. I want an outsider.

Let's take a look at Experience:

    2. The lady ran a town. Barak Hussein Obama has not.

    3. The lady is running a State Governor. Barak Hussein Obama has not.

    4. The lady has not been elected to a national post this makes her an outsider. Barak Hussein Obama has been elected to an national post and has never sponsored a single major piece of legislation this makes him an inexperienced insider.

5 As Governor of Alaska she is CinC of the Alaska National Guard, this gives her some military experience. She also has a son in the military. Barak Hussein Obama has no experience with the military except to dis it.

How about the fact that Gov Palin seems more qualified to go to Washington DC in an important post than BHO does? Is that why the Progressive movement is going ballistic?

  19. Keith,

She's far more ready than Obama.

*She has been chief executive of the largest state

*She was chief executive of a city

*She is commander of the Alaska National Guard, and Alaska Air National Guard (she also visited the troops way before Obama)

*She has made Alaska fiscally stable

    *She ran a commercial business

Being outside of the Washington mainstream is a plus - isn't that what Obama said? Wasn't that what Bill Clinton said in 1992?

And besides, she's going for VP, not the president.

Based on what Obama and Clinton said, she's more than qualified - more so than Obama.

    "Ranger"

  20. I think she is

She has dealt with a legislature

She has run a multi agency organization

she has had to prepare a governmental budget

she has had to interact with other nations

If you want to list a persons faults that is fine. But in the interest of intellectual honesty, you should also include a persons strengths and I think Palin's strengths outweigh her weaknesses.

  21. They had to introduce someone suitable to replace Hilliary.

This is just insane. both parties just have to compete with each other .

  22. Also free of corrupted politics that every washington poltican has done *cough* joe biden *cough*

  23. I don't see why it's a concern right now, because she's only McCain's running mate. He has to be elected before she can even be VP, then, something would have to happen to McCain to make him unable to  continue his term, before she could be President.

  24. Not at all. She needs to go back to Alaska.

  25. O HECK NO!   If she should become President.....God Forbid!

  26. A bit more qualified than Obama.  She is a Governor.

  27. She has the same qualifications as Bill Clinton or Ronald Reagan.  She has more qualifications than Obama has to be president.  Obama is totally unqualified to be president.  Palin it totally qualified to be vp.

Palin as vp has more experience to bring to the table than Obama, as the presidential candidate.

A few months ago I started researching her, and I think McC made a GREAT choice.

There are 4 major functions of the executive branch:

CEO -- the "chief" of the executive branch; all agencies answer to the CEO. A good ticket/candidate brings CEO experience, and in gov't, this often mean having been a governor. (Palin's the only governor running, plus she has owned a couple of companies.)

Commander-in-Chief -- McC has that covered, coming from a military family plus his own military service, plus being a member of the Armed Services Committee. As governor, Palin was commander-in-chief of the National guard.

Foreign Affairs -- McCain has this covered too.  However, Palin has had to deal with other nations (particularly Russia) on fishing rights off the Alaska coast.

Domestic Affairs -- They both have experience here, especially with energy issues being so critical.

Plus Palin is squeaky clean. No "questionable associations" here.(Don't believe the nonsense about her being investigated. That's just an attempt to bring her down by the corrupt politicians she threw out when she became governor.)

In all, Palin has more experience, personal and leadership attributes than Obama has. McCain and Palin together have all the bases covered.

  28. Obama has had 2 kids he never had to carry. Doesn't run 5-7 miles a day,is young, he has no military experience, and has worked in Washington 145 days , voted present on a vast majority of bills, has a foreign father.

Does have criminal friends with money and willing to do a favor quid pro quo, friends that are late 60s radical terrorists that are unapologetic about it, radical hate mongering preacher in a church where he went for 20 years, and a wife that wasn't proud of her country until her husband ran for president. Not to mention his very socialist leanings.

So, I say on balance, Palin is a much better offer than Obama but you are also forgetting that unless McCain died immediately upon entering office, Palin would not be serving as president so the question of being ready to serve on day one is moot. With Obama, you are probably stuck with him from day one ready or not.

  29. you can say the same about obama...

but she might not even be president if mccain doesnt die.

But after listening to her today I thought she sounded like a good speaker and she sounds like a good leader.

but who knows , dont go jumping to conclusions yet we barley know her so far.

  30. Yes.

She is a few years older than Obama.

She was mayor of her town

She was Lt. Governor of Alaska.

She is commander of the Alaska National Guard

She is a fiscal conservative who has amassed a  surplus for the state of Alaska.

and it is precisely because she is not a Washington insider that she was chosen.

  31. She's an American Governor, not a foreigner.  JFK had kids crawling under his desk too.  You make a poor arguement.
