I think all people are caring.. Women might have a more sensitive side that we can expose easier but men can be sensitive also. With men it is tricky because for a lot of men it depends on what triggers emotion for them. Where us women we can see chick flicks (as men call them) and totally understand with empathy. But to your question, the answer is simple both....

Why are you even asking, you know the answer. Every woman will probably think that women are more caring, men will try to give a funny answer that will make more people cry than laugh, and Me? I will tell you that your question, over the cousre of a few days, will kill nine people, injure twelve more, and starve seven kittens. Yay.

definatly female. That being said, there are some very caring men as well. but when you think of Women you think of moms caring for their kids, female teachers, nurses, etc.

i am a man. i think we are more caring. not that i think we are a better gender, no i dont think that at all. but we, men, care sooo much. it may not seem like it but we are hurting way more when their girl is hurting. we try to make it better, but sometimes its not what you women want. Guys try their best, honestly, we try and do whatever it is that we think will make you women happy. So what if its not good enough? it shouldn't matter. just look at what we do. and dont look at it by seeing how much you like it, just think about how much thought he could have put into the gift or way to make you happy. so we guys may not do what you women want but we certainly do our best.

Empathy varies from person to person. Environment and education could help a person become more empathic, but this has nothing to do with gender.

I have seen caring men and apathetic me. And I have seen caring women and apathetic women. As I said, Gender has nothing to do with caring.

I couldn't tell you really, I would say it's 50/50, but if you ask me who would I trust more, who could I count on more?  I'd choose a MAN any day.

Believe me I would be more than happy if any woman were to prove me wrong on that.  Every woman in my life has caused me nothing but grief.

In general women are more caring, but the most caring people the world has ever known are all male.

Think of all the religious leaders (buddha, Jesus), and male nobel peace prize winners.

So while there are more caring women in general, on the extreme end, there are more men.

Same thing with cooking, women might be more likely to know how to cook, but the best chef are men.

Women are naturally more caring because we use both sides of our brain; the right is the emotional side, and the left side is the logical portion. Men generally use the left side of their brain more than their right side.
