Poll--whats in ur makeup bag, pre-school makeup routine, and how long does it take you?

btw--im looking at maybelline Cool Effect Cooling Shadow/Liner--what color would be the best for an undereye liner/highlight for someone with brown hair, tan skin, and dark brown/hazel eyes--im looking for a natural look but for something you can see (if that makes sense)

wow, that was fun, i never knew i had some of this stuff... ;)

And i like to go for the natural look before school too, so my pre-school routine would help you!:

1.) To get rid of my undereye circles, i take my concealer palette (sephora brand about $20) and dab it on my circles; tilting your head down makes it easier to find them. Then, blend it in using your finger in a rolling motion. Don't try to cover it too much! You're trying to be natural

2.) Then, using a brush, dab it into a mineral concealer to get rid of redness (e.lf. mineral concealer and foundation is only $5!) apply it under your eyes and around red sots like around your nose and mouth. Then, blend it in a circular motion.

3.) then use a mineral foundation (e.l.f. is also $5!)  and blend it around your whole face! :D

4.) then use a liquid eyeliner and thinly apply to the top of your lids.

5.) next, curl your lashes and use a waterproof mascara becasue it holds curls longer.

6.) then, apply a bit of nudish pink blush on the apples of your cheeks (smile to find them) and on the jawline for a natural glow.

7.) a nude lipstick does wonders, add some lipgloss for shine if you'd like.

:DD it takes me about 15 minutes. oh and wash your face and moisturize before doing this because it's better to apply make up on a clean/soft face.

well my makeup bag is full of c**p.

i am trying to simpilfy my morning makeup routine for school.

i am going to wear trublend creme by covergirl on my cheeks or a concealer

then i am going to use pure makeup foundation by maybelline

then brown eyeliner on the top

then comb and curl my eyelashes and maybelline mascara.

that should take me 5 minutes or less

and btw i am 14, going into the 9th grade

Oh goodness, my makeup bag has too many things:

Many lip gloss, tinted moisturizer, moisturizer, foundation, concealer, powder, lip balm....

Pre-School Routine:

Moisturizer, Tinted moisturizer, Concealer, and then set it with powder

It takes me 5 minutes, and it's a natural look finish.

I have brown hair and dark brown eyes too, and I also like to go with the natural look.

I'd definitely say Midnight Chill (#22) for an undereye liner as well as On the Rocks (#37.) For a highlighter you should go with a shimmery light color like Chill the Champagne (#27) or possibly Snow Bunny (#24) for that ice princess look. A trick is to line the inner corners of your eyes and then smudge a little to make your eyes really pop.

My Makeup Routine:

1. Blend in some tinted moisturizer under eyes, across cheeks, etc.

2. Sweep some bronzer on forehead, nose, chin, cheeks.

3. Dust face with matte finishing veil.

4. Brush eyeshadow up to crease on upper lid.

5. Line lower rims with eyeliner, smudge slighty with finger/Q-tip.

6. Curl lashes.

7. Slick on 2 coats of mascara. (upper and lower lashes)

8. Swipe on some lip gloss.

TA DA!!!

I have tons of eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, cover up, and lip gloss in my make-up bag I ususally put on the cover up, then eyeliner, mascara, and then eyeshadow, occasionally i put on lipgloss not too much though. It ususally takes me like 10 minutes :]

I have most of the stuff by benefit and mac. We are not allowed make-up at school but i just wear mascara and blush and some concealer if i need it anyway. It only takes me about 5 mins...but i spend much longer on my hair!
