  1. stephenie meyer, lisi harrison, suzzanne colliins, christopher paolini, etc. i canonly think of those 4 and i dont hav 3 faves. and i cant think of any dead ppl either

  2. I would have to think really hard to narrow down to three, but I can tell you straight out that John Steinbeck is number one.  East of Eden is, in my opinion, the best book to ever be written in the English language.  (I would say best book period, but I think that Crime and Punishment is better.)

  3. That's a tough choice to make. I'll list three who are among my favorites (though there are many more than three).

    Louisa May Alcott

    Mark Twain

    O. Henry (William Sydney Porter)

Of course, there is also Margaret Mitchell, William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Walt Whitman, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Edgar Allan Poe, Jack London, Henry James, John Steinbeck, Emily Dickinson, Rex Stout, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Herman Melville...and I could go on and on!

  4. Living, or ever?

If you mean ever, I'd say off the top of my head: Melville, Twain, and Faulkner.

  5. Stephenie Meyer, Scott Westerfeld, and Joanna Campbell

  6. I'd have to say my number one choice is John Steinbeck. He's so talented, and all of his novels are amazing.

I also love Mark Twain, who, personally, I think is a genius (I'm not usually easily impressed). The satire and irony that he uses is hilarious.

Stephen Crane was also born in America, I think...I love his "Red Badge of Courage." That book is a work of art.

    What about you?
