  1. chevy malibu or a saturn outlook, gmc acadia, buick enclave. the last 3 are fuel efficent suvs

  2. I was questioning the same thing last month. We were really wanting an SUV, but the way gas is we were unsure. I went ahead and purchased the Hummer H3. It gets the same gas mileage as the Tahoe, which we were already sure we could afford. We still have our '07 Honda Accord Coupe, which gets gas mileage in the upper 20's. We have worked out a driving schedule which keeps the need for gas fill ups downs. Since we both have hectic schedules, he drives it on his "light" days and I drive it on my "light" driving days. Maybe this is something that would work for you? I'm not sure of your situation.

Other nice SUV's with okay gas mileage is the Toyota Highlander. My friend has one, which is NOT a hybird, and she gets in the 25 MPG range. If you have the money, the Lexus RX400h, hybrid, gets gas mileage in the 30's.

Another option is the Nissan Murano. It is about 23 MPG's. I love the look of the Saturn Outlook, which is lower MPG of about 20 MPG. I personally would never buy a Ford because of a bad experience with one, but that is just me.

Have fun car shopping. I love it!

    I personally

  3. idk if the gas is any good on it.  I think Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep give the best deal.  Its like $2.99 for gas for three years no matter how high gas prices go for the first 12,000 miles of the year. Check out there web prices but I think they got the best deal to watch our backs with the gas prices.
