  1. Yes, no one is looking at pollution.

The spin doctors use global warming and C02 to divert our eyes and yell and scream while they sneak by with all the chemicals and pollution in our air and water.

Why does no one see that by talking about global warming they have put us in a position of denial since scientists do not all agree.  They have made it like a court case that is tied up in court litigation never to be resolved but they come off looking good by yelling and screaming about it.

    Does anyone else agree?

  2. Get a life!!! Tell it to the feckin' Chinese!!

  3. Solar Power Party with Solar Power to support economy. Party which runs on an Anti-War, pro-education, college grant  platform.Supply posters explaining why people should vote for the party if you have not already had an alrernitive in mind. Solar Power Empowers Citizens would be good campaign slogan for posters. Picture of person with hardhat using Solar Power right below the words. Solar Power design a yellow asterisk on the helmet. A suggestion only.

  4. What's funny about this question is the Earth really doesn't care, it will just take what we put back into it and reincorporate it back into its self.

The problem is what some of these chemicals do to lifeforms living on this planet.

Like if a big chemical spill got into a river, like what happened here in Minnesota last month, where a Gas Truck had an accident and tipped over onto it's side and a load of gas spilled out, and got into the Mississippi River and killed some of the fish. Now if this was just a small amount of gas it wouldn't have effected a thing since gasoline floats and dissipates in the air.

There are other chemicals that if a lot of it got into the water it would make the water toxic to drink.

And it's the same with air pollution.

  5. i recycle everyting turn off lights and leave nowt on standby

  6. I'm banking on technology, not human action, at this point.

  7. i think we need countries like china and and usa to really get involved to make a hug difference

  8. these sorta questions get on my nerves

  9. I agree, we've have already started recycling things.

  10. Yes - Industry spends billions on pollution control every year.  And billions more for energy conservation.  They do this because it's the right thing to do, not because they are forced to by gvmt.

  11. no, youre not mental at all i totally agree with you. Its so sad whats happening to the earth, but i do try and think about all the untouched places on the earth that still breathe pure life and energy - i know they wont stay untouched forever, but i hope im not around by then to them fall to 'the man'.

Sadly, in this day and age,  whatver 'the man' says , goes.

Wether the environment is in jeopardy , or not..

  12. Before the industrial age there were massive volcanic eruptions, vast forest fires (no fire fighters), and millions of people burning things to stay warm and cook. Pollution of the atmosphere didn't start recently.

  13. Since it is my job to reduce pollution, I hardly agree.  We can always do more but it is a cost benefit relationship.  There will always be some pollution.  I favor paying a little extra to keep the environment clean.  Too often there are parties that have no incentive to not pollute.  It is cheaper to dump some chemical in the storm drain than to pay for proper clean up.  This sort of unauthorized pollution hurts everyone and everyone has to pay for the cleanup.
