Polond auschwitz concetration camp?

ok im wanting to go see this place and i need to know what do i do do i have to boomk a tour or can i just walk up and take a tour also im taking the train to krakow can i take a taxi there or what any help would be great

Surely there's a bus from the train station.  And I just bought a ticket to enter and took my own self-guided tour at Dachau.  Surely it's the same at Auschwitz?
