Polti 1500 no steam just droplets of water

Question

just bought a polti 1500 from ebay. supposed to be working fine but alas no steami have tried descaling itthe hose must not be blocked as i poured water through itthe water heats up finejust a clicking noise as press the handle but no steamjust wondering whether i can fix it easily or i will have to send it back which is very costly and inconvenientplease help me
