Question:

Polycystic ovaries, regular periods, could I be pregnant?

I have polycystic ovaries and have had irregular periods since I first started getting them. For the past year, year and a half, my periods have been pretty regular, having only missed 3, maybe 4, tops. I was expecting my period between the 21st and the 23rd of this month, but it never came. I wouldn't be writing since missing periods is normal in my case, but I feel like I should be having it and I've never had that feeling before. I have been getting cramps I get when on my period, and have even had the feeling you get down below when it's that time of the month.....could I be pregnant? I would run out and buy a HPT, but I've had so many negatives that I'm scared to do so.....any answers?

  1. You could be getting another cyst.  Everytime I developed a cyst I would not have my period that month.

  2. if you've been having unprotected s*x, then sure, there is a possibility that you are pregnant, if not...then I suspect you are just obsessing about an irregular cycle...you can have all the discomfort without the actual period you know.  at any rate, a home pregnancy test will not be accurate until six weeks from the date of conception.  So, wait six weeks from the date you last had intercourse before you decide to test for pregnancy.
