  1. Here are some healthier sources of essential fatty acids.  The amount of toxins in fish negates the benefits one receives from the essential fatty acids it contains.  Flaxseed oil contains twice as much omega 3's as fish oil!

    Healthy sources of Alpha-Linolenic Acids (Omega 3's)

    Flaxseeds (linseeds)

    Mustard seeds

    Pumpkin seeds

    Soya bean

    Walnut oil

    Green leafy vegetables

    Grains

    Spirulina

    Oils made from:

    Linseed (flaxseeds)

    Rapeseed (canola)

    Soya beans

    Linoleic Acid (Omega 6's)

    Vegetables

    Fruits

    Nuts

    Grains

    Seeds

    Oils made from:

    Safflower

    Sunflower

    Corn

    Soya

    Evening primrose

    Pumpkin

  3. if you are a veggie Flaxseed oil & Evening Primrose are the two sources with the highest levels of omega3's.  other wise Salmon has the highest levels.  i know this bcuz i have a husband whom has been winning a fight with 2 kinds of Cancer - he was not to see his 50th bday becuz of Cancers.....well i still got him and he is 54!  hope this helps :)
