Question:

Pomegranate tress getting better, but still not "all that" (I think).?

Almost a year ago my BF and I planted pomegranate seeds which sprung up in no time. When we took them outside as seedlings though (at about 5 or 6 inches tall), it appeared that the sun killed them (they dried up and shriveled up in one day). Then, we tried again, keeping them inside. When they ranged from 8” to over 12” in height two months ago), I posted here because although tall, they were not robust and they needed a stick to ‘stand’. We were given very good advice and were told that they exhibited classical signs of not enough light, so I placed them in a window with LOTS and LOTS of natural sun. Well, they have gotten much more tall and robust and green (stem is thicker and three out of four stand by themselves). Now, when do we replant them? When should we take them outside? Should we give them any vitamins? Do you think they will survive the winter outside (Houston, Texas).

Thanks!
