Pond Alesha, the most appealing contestant in William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV at Newcastle
Pond Alesha, H. Williams’ charge, is an experienced hound, and has run well at the higher levels. She has been enjoying good market support over the past few weeks, and once again she is likely to get good starting price in William Hill supporting Racing
Post TV, a 480 metres Grade A1 meeting, taking place at Newcastle on Thursday, November 15th.
The daughter of Hondo Black recently travelled very nicely in the trials. From the first trap, she demonstrated an excellent show, grabbing the top rank by 10 lengths. The December-08 b***h covered the area in 28.90 seconds, and an equally good effort would
be enough to enjoy the glory today.
Among her rivals are: Nadurra Buzz, Strange Ozzy, Centaur Chav, Woodys Aroma and Ballymac Neill. The 480 metres clash is scheduled to get started at 21:45 GMT. The ultimate champion will be given a prize of 133 pounds.
Nadurra Buzz normally produces a big run from the second trap. He is enjoying the same box this time, and deserves respect on that basis. J. Wright’s charge is stepping into this battle after a couple of fascinating triumphs.
Ballymac Neill went well in the trails, but could still not be out of the comfort zone. Similar is the case with Centaur Chav, who is not as appealing as a few others today. The black dog, trained by J. Wright, has recently faced a couple of awful defeats,
and would be short of confidence.
Woodys Aroma played at a lower level last time out, and really needs improvement to do the trick at this level. On the other hand, it is hard to rule out more success after Strange Ozzy’s recent strike.
Both Nadurra Buzz and Strange Ozzy are making very good appeal at the moment, and one needs a big run to tackle these days. According to our calculations, Pond Alesha is the only one who can do this.
The draw is massively in her favour and if she takes full advantage of the red box, she will soon be uncatchable. We wish the best of luck to all the participants.
