Pond wildlife help?

Question

I'm building a pond that hopefully frogs and turtles will live in someday. Does anyone know what species of turtles and frogs that are native to Michigan can live there?

Doesnt Michigan Freeze major big time? Hope you have taken that into account. Maybe consult your local wildlife foundations.
