Pony or Horse; which one is more suitable for advanced / further training?

Both are equally suitable.  There is no difference in ability, but most of the people who compete in higher level competitions are adults, who cannot ride ponies. But other than that, it simply depends on the horse and the training.

How big are you?? I think horses, some ponies can be stubborn and cheeky in a mean way.

arab mares and thoroughbred mares are the best. pony mares are also good.  butif you want more serious training marab mares are the best.

In what way?

Most people choose to do more advanced riding techniques on horses simply because horses are larger and adults fit on them better. That being said ponies can and have been used for more advanced work including dressage, jumping, endurance, reining etc.

In some countries ponies are more common than horses, ie Mongolia.
