  1. my little pony? well just decorate it with the stuff and a my little pony cake and look up games online and the girls get a pony prize for whoever wins

  2. Isshe about 8 y/o??  My daughter wanted one too!  We made a day of it.. Started out with just a few (like three) friends at our home, Had a My little pony cake, ect...  Played a few games, then told her we hada suprise for her.  We loaded all the kids up in a minivan and headed to a horse farm.  (Check your local telephone book for horseback riding lessons)  There the kids got to take turns on horses for over an hour!  Afterwards, they got to brush them and rub them and even spray them with a water hose!  Those kids had the best time and for 4 kids (parents get to ride free here!)  It was less than $100.00 for the hour, not to mention they got to play on the farm with all the other animals too, for as long as they wanted.  It was like a petting zoo, with no gates or fences to block them in!  She will LOVE it!  Just remember everyone who rides Must wear tennis shoes or boots (preferrably) and Jeans!!!  Oh yeah, don't forget the bug spray!  LOL

WE live in the country, so the horses Idea was great for us.  My daughter loved horses and pony's, but she is more of a farm girl, not a girly girl.  Afraid of s******g it up for her?  Ask your niece what her ideal party would be... kids havea great imagination and if she can dream up her own perfect party, make it happen for her!

  3. I had a pony party when I was 10. I had mine at a local horse riding center. Could you ring around local riding schools and see if they offer them?

Also you could get a pony themed cake and pony themed goody bags, with things like 'happy birthday rosettes'.

My pony party cost my dad £100 all together, which included the party at the riding center, we had horse riding lessons, a gymkhana and a ride on the horse and cart, We also had loads of sweets and games.

  4. Hi,

Well! How lovely and nice idea!

Most girls will love a 'princess' pony party!

    1) Phone up local farms/ horse riding club and see if they do parties- session for 1 hour for a group of small children around your niece age.

Many won't teach them how to ride but allow them to ride safely with instructor and grooming/feeding ect.

If you have a big garden you may be able to have pony at your premises. Or act local village hall for permission.

    2) Make invitations in shape of horseshoe or even better in pony rosette including name of niece, date, time, venue and rvsp address or number!

    3) When decorating the room use pretty pink, white and purple streamers and balloons. Try getting hold of a rocking horse and bale of hay - if party being held outside!

Have a horse shaped pinatas too!

    4) Idea for games - well after having a ride on a pony the get two stick horses and divide the children into two teams. Race the stick horses to the finish line and back and then the next two have a go. This can be changed to make it harder. Have them race backwards, hop over small obstacles or gallop.

Play stick the tail on the donkey!

Have a mini makeover! Consider mini 'pony' makeovers as they arrive. Give each girl a ponytail style hairdo and add feathers or beads. You could even braid their hair using french plaits. This will go nicely with the pony theme.

For very young children, find a good horse storybook to read aloud and provide coloring pages and crayons for the guests.

Buy My Little Pony plates, napkins, table cloths ect depending on how old she is.

Make cake shape of pony too and cup cakes. Make pony finger sandwiches - add mini carrot sticks, apple slices and crackers.

For goody bag ideas - get a straw hat for each child fill it with sweets, horse stickers, picture of child on the pony. You could even fill a small wicket basket for each child with a stuffed mini horse, and other related pony things like notepads and pencils.

  5. Get a donkey, they are cheaper!
