Pool, do you have to dig a hole if u have a ground cloth?

I am wanting to purchase a pool from walmart, but my husband made me decide not to because he said it is too much trouble cuz u have to dig a hole and everything..But my kids keep asking, and iw ant to give them something to do over the summer..i DO NOT like public pools, just to filthy for me!

But the pool i am wanting to get has a ground cloth, in the image it does not show where you have to dig a hole

but with a ground cloth do you have to dig a whole..its an above ground pool ofcourse!

No you do not have to dig a hole. Hence the name Above ground pools. I don't know where your hubby got that idea or if it was a tatic to not buy a above ground pool. We just put one up and it was well worth all the money spent. Pump, filters, chemicals, etc.

The only digging involved would be to level the ground. Whether you have the ground cloth or not, the ground will need to be level.
